Medicine of the Rockies

FIELD BOTANY AND HERBALISM COURSE

A hands on outdoor course exploring botanical ecology, plant id, ethical wildcrafting, herbalism, medicine making, & more!

The Rocky Mountains of Colorado are full of beauty, medicine, wildlife, and adventure. Despite being a harsher climate these mountains are home to a rich selection of medicinal plants. From the foothills to the high mountains and alpine there is a wide range of medicinal wildflowers, trees, shrubs, and lichens.

This course will be a series of plant walks. Each of these plant walks will explore a different ecological zone and the plants growing there. Each plant walk will have a different focus to give you an in-depth introduction to ethically foraging and working with wild plants. It is recommended to take the full course if you are able.
